Identity Theft Program Slated

WOODBURY - Security officer Thomas P. Nash, CPP, will present a program on identity theft and Internet fraud at 7 p.m. Thursday, September 23, at the Woodbury Public Library.

The security officer for Naugatuck Savings Bank, Mr. Nash previously was employed as a supervisor of corporate fraud investigation for People's Bank, as an assistant vice president of loss prevention and fraud control for Citibank, as an Internet fraud prevention consultant for Cybersource Corp., as an operations planning manager for the former First Security Services Corp., and was vice president and director of security for the former Society for Savings Bank in Hartford.

He also served nine years with the Hartford Police Department.

Mr. Nash earned the Certified Protection Professional designation and is board-certified in security management by ASIS International, is a member of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators and serves as president of the Connecticut Loss Prevention Association.

He also holds police instructor certification from the state Police Officer Standards and Training Council.
